You can own an authentic piece of American history which is being sold from my personal collection. This 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible remains one of the most sought after cars in the word! My family had a number of brand new Eldorado convertibles all through the 70's when I was in high school, and I can clearly remember the trips to the Jersey shore riding with the top down in the most impressive and decadent car of the decade! It was the king of the road back then, and still is today! I began my search for a 1976 Eldorado back in 2004, and it took years of searching and flying all over the country to find this car. I made numerous flights only to arrive and be totally disappointed. Finding out once again I was dealing with an outright liar-one after another. Those vehicles had been painted up, had cracked and re-dyed interiors and odometers that had been tampered with. Those vehicles were not even CLOSE to the museum quality car that I was looking for. FINALLY I found it!!!!! This car was owned by an elderly gentleman in his late 70's that had retired to the suburbs of Atlanta. The gentleman owned a small countryside cadillac dealership in upstate Pennsylvania for almost 40 years and had personally ordered this car for his wife with the intention of using it as a daily driver back in 1976. When it was announced that the 1976 Cadillac Eldorado was to be the LAST AMERICAN built convertible EVER, the feeding frenzy began. The same cars that had a MSRP sticker price of $12,000(which was a LOT of money 40 years ago) TRIPLED overnight ! At that point he decided not to use the car, but instead to store it away in his personal collection. If this would have actually been one of the last American built convertibles ever, this vehicle would be valued at $250,000! But, as we all know, there continues to be a lot of American built convertibles produced and sold since 1976-but NONE have ever come CLOSE to the iconic 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible! My car is "THE REAL DEAL". This car is impeccable! The 7,861 mileage reading is TRUE and CORRECT. The color combination is simply stunning! This vehicle comes with a fiberglass parade boot with custom made storage bags. The leather, rugs, door panels and engine transmission are just the way they were when it rolled off the GM assembly line in 1976. All the power options are fully functional. The car is a "turn key" museum piece. If you wanted to, you could get into this car today and drive it cross country without issue. I still can't resist! I take the car out & drop the top for one or two short rides every summer. If you are in the market for an affordable icon car, look no further-you found it! No surprises here. It is titled to me personally, and has been kept in a heated, dehumidified garage on a storage lift-so nobody can touch it. Car comes with the correct factory black center hub caps and a second factory set of white center caps. Car to be shown by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting my Operations Manager, Rachel, Monday thru Friday 9am-4pm EST. *Can arran delivery to NJ and the DE Port for overseas delivery. co
